The Center
Education at SERC focuses on creating engaging, hands-on experiences for learners of all ages and professional development for educators. We offer a variety of programs, including STEM Camps for PK–12 students, Educator Workshops designed to empower teachers with effective STEM strategies, and immersive Field Trips that bring STEM concepts to life.

Our mission is to provide high-quality STEM education programming for learners and educators while advancing research that improves STEM teaching and learning locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally.

Research at SERC
Research is at the heart of SERC’s mission. We actively study the impact of our programs to improve STEM teaching and learning. Beyond program evaluation, SERC fosters collaborative research across STEM disciplines, inviting faculty from across the university to engage in interdisciplinary projects that advance STEM education. Our goal is to create a vibrant research community that connects theory, practice, and innovation.
